Beschreibung der Arbeitsweise
Lukas Weithas (*1991, Harare, Zimbabwe) studied transmedia art and social practice at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna led by Prof. Brigitte Felderer (2017-2019) & art and cultural management at Zeppelin University Friedrichshafen (2019-2021). Weithas' conceptual approach ranges from sculpture, installation, painting to performance. He discusses and comments on emotional attachments such as (pop-)cultural affiliation, religious symbolism, materialistic fetish, or belief in seductive brand aesthetics in a post-capitalist and heavily social media mediated contemporary culture.Ausbildung
